The Collection

The Godfather (1972)

The aging patriarch of an organized crime dynasty, Don Vito Corleone, seeks to transfer control of his clandestine empire to his reluctant son, Michael. When a drug war erupts and an attempt is made on his father's life, Michael is forced to abandon his desire for a normal life and enter the violent family business, initiating a bloody cycle of revenge and betrayal.

The Godfather Part II (1974)

This dual narrative contrasts the early life of Vito Corleone in 1920s New York with his son Michael's expansion of the family syndicate in the 1950s. As Vito rises from a poor immigrant to a respected power broker through calculated violence, Michael tightens his grip on the family, facing government investigations and treachery from within that ultimately leaves him powerful but alone.

The Godfather Part III (1990)

Decades later, an aging Michael Corleone seeks to legitimize his family's interests and remove himself from the criminal underworld once and for all. He attempts to purchase a controlling stake in a Vatican-owned real estate company to wash away his sins. However, the pull of the mob and the ambitions of a new generation drag him back into the violence, leading to a tragic conclusion that costs him the thing he holds most dear.
